Born in Africa to the Disco era where he spent over 40 years, he will bring you to the best sites around Dakar where he has been diving for over 5 years. His passion for under-water Photography and Filming makes him the ultimate diving "geek" who will always have great advice for your underwater photos.

Julie is first and foremost a biologist and has been scuba diving for more than 30 years, first as a naturalist in parks, then as research scientist and now she is sharing her passion. She's been diving in Senegal since 2011 and knows the sites perfectly, There she will introduce you to marine wildlife and flora.

He's our Provencal color, our accent from the South of France. Marc obtained a State Patent in Physical Education in ScubA dIVING IN 1999, became PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor in 2000, a Federal Monitor and ANMP Nitrox Instructor. He managed the Sanary Dive Center from 2005 to 2013 and was an independent monitor from 2000 to 2005. He has been teaching Scuba Diving for 13 years (1998 to 2013).
The rest of the team is composed of Ousmane, our skipper all there is to know about the Senegalese ocean and of a man on board, Moussa. Jean-Michel will be at the store to help you with the preparation for and return from your dive.
Infrastructures and Equipment
Our spaces are located at the place de l’embarcadère de N’Gor (right in front of the hôtel de la Madrague). You will be welcomed in a friendly and functional environment. A large changing room with two cabins to change in and room for your belongings will allow you to prepare yourself comfortably and be briefed on the diving.
Audio-visual material has been prepared for training, information and for you to enjoy videos of underwater discoveries. Upon returning from the dive, you will have access to two rinse basins and two warm showers attached to the changing room. Finally you can relax in our green space in the shade under our big mango tree “à palabres”
The Barracuda Dive Club is equipped with new material from its “partner centre” AQUALUNG.
We have 50 steel bottles at our disposal (6L, 10L, 12L, 15L), both single and double exit as well as top of the line, adapted equipment.
You will find suits of all sizes (children’s and XS to 2XL) et for all seasons (3mm, 4.5mm, 6mm).
New vests are available to you in a wide variety of sizes. New CALYPSO regulators will make your equipment complete.
Last but not least, regulators, computers and cameras are available on location.
Our BAUER compressor is uniquely designed for warmth and comfort. Fitted to fill bottles quickly and safely and to meet your needs. Upon request, you can also dive in a NITROX mix.
Our 10 meter boat, designed and sketched by Franck for divers’ comfort and safety, is equipped with 2 new 100 CV Yamaha motors and modern equipment for repertoire and safety (GPS/sounder/buoy/First Aid Kit/oxygen therapy kit).
All of our dives are conducted in optimal security conditions. Divers in training and beginners are always in limited groups and supervised by professional divers.
We encourage divers’ sense of autonomy by letting them swim on their own, provided that their mastery of diving and weather conditions allow it.
